PA's are okay.. They are the only reason I didn't give a 1 star.. The office staff desperately needs more training on how Tricare works. I highly recommend if you have Tricare Prime Remote (ACTIVE DUTY) don't go here. They cant figure it out and they refuse to listen. They blame Tricare for their mistakes. The Med. Asst. made an appointment for my daughter to see a plastic surgeon, when we arrived to the appt. we found out she never submitted a referral to Tricare. It was embarrassing.. She also refused to call Tricare for an urgent referral over the phone even though Tricare told me (quite a few times) if she would JUST CALL they would tell her what to do to get it approved almost instantly. I told her this a dozen times and my husband even went into the office TWICE to tell them. But instead the office manager called the specialist (not knowing I was in the lobby listening) and laughed, talked bad about me and blamed Tricare.. I heard the whole conversation. I also have recorded conversations with them I plan on using when I file a grievance. Oh yeah... "Thanks for covering the front line" Ms. Office manager.. Sound familiar? Yeah I heard.. So just a heads up to my fellow active duty military families! ;)
