On a recent visit to WV I stopped into the Mound Antique Shop. As I entered the store I was promptly greeted and was told that if I had any questions that the clerk Tonya would be happy to help me. I didn't purchase anything but I did enjoy the visit. Wasn't pressured or pursued. Look forward to coming back on my next visit to WV!
Store clerk was very helpful and knowledgeable. I like that on the door it clearly state's business hours and that layaway is available.
Great selection of collectibles. Easy to peruse. Could spend hours and never see it all! Friendly staff. Affordable prices! We could negotiate a good price for my items. Will shop again next time I am in South Charleston...a must see!!
I have shopped in this store on many occasions. The manager is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. She goes out of her way to be helpful to all of her customers. The antique furniture is in good to excellent condition. The displays are done in excellent taste. One is able to find real treasures within this shop. Owner is very selective as to what she puts in her store. Excellent place to shop for antiques.
Parents came in from out of town to visit. While in they decided to stop in 4:45 seeing online (Google Places) that it closes at 6. Well apparently that was wrong and they close. While cluelessly looking around they heard the lady working say "I cant believe someone would come in so close to closing time". The closing time I guess was 5, however the way it was handled was completely wrong, it is one thing to politely mention to them that they were closing however to loudly tell someone else that was wrong. I have been in this store a few times and liked it however this completely baffled me how rude the employee was.
